The LSFG-RetFlow is an innovative product for non-invasive, real-time imaging and measurement of ocular blood flow that will aid in the clinical evaluation of glaucoma and retinochoroidal vascular disease. The Laser Speckle Flowgraphy (LSFG-NAVI) can visualize and measure the distribution of blood flow in the human retina in a broad area from macular to the optic nerve head. The most useful feature of the instrument is the ability to non-invasively observe blood flow synchronized with the heartbeat as a series of 2D blood flow maps. In recent years, laser speckle flowgraphy (LSFG) has been introduced as a non-invasive, easy to perform, and reliable means of measuring retinal blood flow , , , . The principles of LSFG have been well described . Briefly, when the retina is illuminated with a diode laser, a speckle pattern of the retina appears due to the interference of the light scattered by the movements of the erythrocytes within the retinal vessels.
